Rogers & Spencer .44 Army percussion revolver serial number 825.

Stock # 4833
Price: £2,950  :: €3,540  :: $4,366

Only about 5,800 manufactured circa 1865 towards the end of the Civil War. Martially inspected by "RPB" (Captain Robert P. Barry) on the left side of the two-piece grip and the letter "B" on different parts of the revolver. The revolver is in overall fine condition retaining approx. 60% of its original blue finish to the barrel, frame and cylinder and near 90% case colours to the loading lever and hammer. Most of the loss of finish is to the frame, cylinder and back-strap. The action is excellent and the revolver is in good working order
