Early model with square butt and scoop type cylinder flutes. Nickel plated, six shot, seven inch round barrel with unique extraction and loading mechanism and two-piece red & black chequered hard rubber grips & lanyard ring. Chambered for the obsolete .44 M&H centrefire calibre. Patent dates on top of barrel from 1874 to 1877 with "Hopkins & Allen Manufacturing Co, Norwich, Conn., USA." on the left side of the barrel.


Overall in fine to excellent condition with bright bore & mechanically in good working order.
